We are today more powerful than yesterday. There is no doubt that in being more powerful tomorrow than today if our unity and union get richer. We never abandon our hope from the Allah’s mercy and never will do. Our union will be the voice of all of the Muslims in the world especially in the field of decision mechanism.

However, these problems can not be solved by the external interferences. There is no need to try to find out the solutions at the outside. Import formulas can not be the cure of our problems. Because; the external based revolution call can not gain forever legality inside. We have to look for a revolution stems from our roots.

The Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW) has no relationship with any kind of political faction or power focal and never will be. Also, It will never be the voice of any illegal power. We are the voice of Aceh, Kashmir, Chechen. Moro, Palestine and Baghdad. We are the voice of Syria, Hejaz, Egypt, and Bosnia…
Our civilization is like a sun that can not be put out by blowing and it is a like a morning that can not be a night by closing your eyes. The one who closes his eyes will make night to himself. We must realize especially the one point that our first duty today is the unity and corporation of the Islam. As a result of this consultation in every field. We can never neglect this primary duty for any reason and never postpone. If we believe ourselves, no power can stop us in the way we believe. If we know where we are, no power can confuse us. If we do not let any discord seed to turn green, no power can stop us from seeing the realizations of our dreams.”
The concepts like non-profit organizations, which is newly realized by the people of this century, are not new for us. This civilized society is the legacy to us from Medina and “the happiness century”. The best example for the civilized man is our dear Prophet (ASW) and the best example for the civilized society is the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad. Did not they show us the best examples of self-sacrificing, union and cooperation?” Then he explained the purpose of the union in this way: this union is a platform which will cause to show humans the basics of the civilized life like the” happiness century” by getting power from each other and completing our lacking parts. Unity is the voice of the Islamic world and the unity is our soul and identity.
Existence reason of this unity is again us and our culture.. We have a message for whole world. We will say that observe these incidents that are shaped by the games of society engineers beyond the curtains this time from our perspective. They will the voice of this culture which does not only prohibits killing innocent people but also prohibits killing civil people in the wars. They also need the deepness and the heat of these messages.
Power forces of the understanding of the civilization can not establish the real civil society. Isn’t it clear that if there is no spirit then there are self- seekers and hypocrisies? On the contrary, Sprit of Medina has voluntaries and virtues. It has the will of the Allah. As sprit of Medina develops the hearts, it makes societies happy and peaceful by the help of the voluntary people. We are supposed to show this sprit to world as the representatives of the “happiness century”. The core of the real civil society is this sprit.

We’re forbidden to marry four classes of women we’re related to by ‘Sihriyyaf (relatives of our partner which, become our relatives at marriage). These classes, Hurmat-i Musaaharah, are as follows: Mother-in-laws: Regardless of the partners having been in zifaaf or not, the son in law is haram for the brides mother from the moment of the nikaah.

Step mothers: The partners having been in zifaaf or not, the wives are haraam for the groom’s father and grandfather. Step daughters: Daughters and granddaughters of the women from her old partner is again haram. However, for it to be haram, the husband must have been in zifaaf with his wife or have touched her with passion. If on the other hand, the wife passes away or the couple split up before this happens, it is then not haram to do nikah with, (marry) the step-daughter.

Even if it means that the man has been in halvat-i sahiha with his wife. (Halvat-i Sahiha occurs when a man and woman are alone, without the disturbance of a third person and when they are somewhere that no-one else can see them.
Brides (daughter-in-laws/ granddaughter-in-laws): It is haram for a man to marry his son or his grandson’s wife, (it doesn’t matter if they’ve been in zifaaf or not).

The person who does not accept and believe in Allah has to accept all the other things as his god and worship them but the one who believes in the owner of the universe and just worships Him, in contrast, is safe from worshipping any other things. Understanding that all the creatures are servants bestowed to him by Allah for His mercy’s sake, he ascends to the position of
The Caliph of the World.

With an example, I want to explain the fact which was stated in the following sentence of the First Word: “Take the name of the Pre-Eternal Ruler and Post-Eternal Lord of this desert!” namely believe in Allah and conform to His orders and restrictions. With this Faith “be saved from begging before the whole universe and trembling before every event”.

If a human does not have faith in Allah and only worship to Him, he has to become a slave and servant of all the creatures. And a beggar before all the creatures he benefits from. As we are Muslim, thanks to Allah, we may not completely understand this fact. However, when we look at those who do not accept Allah and worship Him we will clearly see their condition.
I want to tell my conversation with an Indian merchant about this subject that I made in Ankara in the office of a businessman. This man was graduated from two different universities. With the help of an interpreter, we had the following conversation.
“Could I ask a question to you not to contempt just out of desire to learn?” I asked Him.
“Sure” he said.
“Why do you worship cow?” I asked.
“We worship cow because we benefit from its milk, meat and lots of other products. In exchange for these benefits we should worship them.” he replied.
“We use the products of sheep, too.” I continued.
“We have to worship sheep, no doubt. Even we have to worship the earth and all the creatures on it from the air we breathe to the plants, animals, sun, etc, because we benefit from all of them. In accordance with our benefit we have to worship them.” he explained.
Indeed, he was trying to say: “You go to a market and buy all sorts of products you want and you have to pay for as many products as you buy. In the same way, we came to the divine market which is called the world, and we make use of it and the things in it. Certainly, as a payment we have to worship as much as we benefit from them.”
However, he did not take into account the fact that when buying products in a market we do not pay to products themselves but to the owner of the market. Even though he knew that the market has an owner, he could not think and understand that this Market of Earth has an owner, too.
I gave an example that he could understand.
“We are using this room now. Do you think we prepared the room for ourselves before coming here?” I asked
He said “No.”.
“So, do you think the material and the furniture in the room knew that we would come here and gathered the necessary things and prepared the room for us? And do these materials have the power and consciousness to do this work?” I continued.
“No, never.” he said.
“They are not aware of this work let alone having the necessary consciousness and power to do this work. As we did not prepare this room and the materials in it can not achieve it. So, how this room was provided with furniture and it could be completely suitable for us? This reality means that this room has an owner and was prepared by Him and given to our service. We used the room and its furniture. Shall we thank the room and its furniture or is it essential for us to show our gratitude to the owner who prepared it for us? If we do not recognize, believe in and thank its owner, but thank room and the furniture in it, for our very ingratitude we cannot hope to get such a gift again and we will deserve punishment that the owner will give us as a result of our fault. Just the same as this example, our world is like a room. All the furniture in it is for us to use. We did not prepare this world before coming to world. Since these things are possible to occur just through boundless power, wisdom and knowledge, it is impossible that this world and the creatures in it know us and come together to prepare the world for our needs. The elements and creatures constituting our world are helpless and unconscious. It is impossible to think that they did all these things. Therefore, our world has an owner and creator who is All Powerful, Perfectly Wise, Knower of All and All Beneficent. Besides creating us, he also created the earth with everything on it and gave it to our service because of our needs. So, do you think one deserves the torments of the hell if he worships these creatures because of their benefits to him and not accept, worship and be servant of the Creator of the Universe and even deny the existence of Him and be ungrateful to Him?
“The one who does not accept and believe in Allah has to accept all the other things as his god and worship them but the one who believes in the owner of the universe and just worships for Him, in contrast, is safe from worshipping any other things. Understanding that all the creatures are servants bestowed to him by Allah for His mercy’s sake, he ascends to the position of Caliph of the World.”
When I gave this explanation, the Indian man became despondent, had a puzzled expression on his face and waited awhile without uttering a word. He changed the subject and spoke about commercial matters. From the condition of this man, I understand how glorious religion Islam is and by making us servants of only one god, it saves us from worshipping and being the slave of everything from cow to the sun and the moon and it provides the honour that the human beings deserve. And I thanked Allah so many times. When the sun rises, a reflection and a copy having all the features of it appears on all the mirrors, pieces of glass, water bubbles and all the transparent objects which are in front of the sun. The person who does not recognize the real sun in the sky have to admit that in each of those transparent objects is a real sun which is 1.306.000 times bigger than the earth and 149,6 million km deep in the mirrors. This is impossible for many reasons, no doubt. In the same way, the person who does not believe in and worship Allah who created and made all the things with His Divine Attributes have to admit all creatures as his god and worship them. However, the one who believes in All the Beneficent and worships Him gets rid of believing and worshipping all the creatures. I thank Allah so much for the gift of Faith He bestowed upon us. Peace be upon the last prophet Muhammad who conveyed the Islam to us.

‘Şüphesiz Allah sizin üzerinizde her şeyi görüp gözetendir’2 ayetinde beyan edilen ihsan anlayışıyla beslenmezse uzun ömürlü olmaz.

Resulullah (s.a.v.) buyurdular ki: “Allaha karşı olabildiğince hayalı davranınız.

Kalp Allah’a imanla hayat bulup canlanırsa onda haya da artar.İşte haya yaşamımızdan sıyrılıp uçarsa insanı kimse tutamaz.

…( Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi)

Byzantium Caesar Heraclius, said to Dihye, who presented him a letter from our prophet (saw), inviting him to Islam,
“Let Allah (swt) make you attain his mercy! Wallahi, I know well that your master is the prophet that Allah (swt) has sent for mankind.

If I wasn’t scared for my life of the Romans, I would persist on him and help him!” He then sent it to the Byzantium patriarch, Uskuf Dagatir, and told him, “Explain your problem to your master Rasulullah! Wallahi, he is a greater person than me among the Romans.

His word is more valid than mine! Look to see what he is going to say!” Our prophet wrote a letter that was to be given to Dagatir, with the following: “Greetings to the ones who came to believe in Islam! There is no doubt that the son of Mary, Isa, is the soul and word that Allah (swt) dropped into the pure hearted and morally complete Meryam. I believe in Allah (swt) and everything that Allah (swt) has lowered down to us, what Allah (swt) endowed to Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishak, Yakub… and all of the prophets. We would not separate anyone of them from the other, we believe in every one of them. We are Muslims that succumb to Allah! Greetings to the ones who have found the right path!”

Dihye went to Dagatir and invited him to Islam. Dagatir said; “Wallahi your master is the prophet that Allah (swt) has sent! We recognise his qualities; we have found his name written in our books!”

Dagatir used to give advice and council the Christians every Sundays. On a couple of Sundays he used his illness as an excuse to not go into the church. The Nasranis sent out news to Dagatir saying, “either he is going to come out among us, or we will go next to him! We aren’t pleased with his matter of conduct since this Arab came!” Dagatir sent Dihye away by saying “send my greetings to your master (Rasulullah). Let him know that I bear witness that there is no god but Allah (swt) (swt), that Muhammad is the servant and messenger of Allah (swt), that Isa is the servant of Allah (swt) and is the soul & the word that Allah (swt) dropped into the clean and virtuous Meryam!” He took off the black garment he had on him and wore a white one.

He took his baton into his hand went next to the gathered Romans at the church and said “Oh Romans! A letter came from the prophet of Allah (swt). In his letter he invited us to the great Allah (swt). I bear witness that there is no god but Allah (swt)! And Ahmed is his slave and messenger!” As soon as he said this, all of the Romans attacked him and beat him until he became a shaheed!”

The difference between slander and Calumny

One woman, in order to find a solution to a problem came to Rasulullah (saw). As she was leaving, Hz Aisha (r.anha) said

“O Rasulullah! What a short woman!”

Rasulullah (saw) said:

“O Aisha! Do not slander.”

Hz. Aisha said

“O Rasulullah! I only said something that she has.”

To which Rasulullah (saw) replied:

“Yes, that is why I said do not slander. If you said something that she didn’t have then I would have said calumny.”

Tevekkul is to trust Allah (swt).

It is not to rely on your talent, wealth or strength as these are helpless. As Allah (swt) has power over objects and is able to destroy these reasons and create new reasons which cannot be explained.

We should stick to these reasons; however one must trust Allah (swt) with his full heart. The reasons do not have strength for an end result. A reason becomes a reason with Allah (swt) permission and creation. Allah (swt) is the only creator. Allah (swt) can create without a reason.

However, to give a reason for his creation is his Sunnah and tradition. For example He (swt) would not give a child to an unmarried person. Although He (swt) has the power to do so. This is how Adam (as) and Havva (ra) were created. There are many people who marry few times, and won’t have kids.

Also there are many people who are talented and strong but they would not be able to reach their goals as their strength would disappear. This shows that it is compulsory to only trust, thank and worship Allah (swt).

Is it surprising how people are unable to trust Allah (swt) for their daily duties. There are people who stop working and say they trust Allah (swt). Although Allah (swt) had urged to trust him on the day-to-day duties, one must also carry on working for the hereafter.
People are doing the opposite. They say they need worldly possessions, so they work to make a lot of profit. They say Allah (swt) is Almighty and become lazy in preparing themselves to the life after death.

If one trusts Allah (swt) in their day-to-day life and gives their priority to worship, Allah (swt) would provide him with the necessary things. He (swt) will pit richness in their hearts and they would see themselves wealthy. On the other hand if one works day and night to make money or to come to a status, if they do not think about the afterlife, then they would in a distraught and an unorganised state.

There are many ayahs in the Qur’an that instrcut us about ethics and principles in the most perfect way. The Qur’an was practised in the best way through the Prophet Muhammed (saw).

The Qur’an demnstrated the importance of duty tohumans as well as protecting rights and demonstrated where the greatest blessings are to be found. This extensiveness of the morals and principles cannot be found anywhere else. Without any doubt the Qur’an is the most informative. Is there anywhere else where such rules rules can be found?

“Surely Allah (swt) ordered you to be justly in a proper way, to be kind, to be generous to relatives. Allah (swt) tells us to keep away from dubious actions; Action against Shari’ah and from excessiveness. Allah (swt) tells us to listen, to udnerstand and to keep this in mind”

What could be more beneficial such as in the Ayah: Anaf 199:

Take the way of rightenousness and forgiveness, order good deeds and turn your face away from ignorance.

In order to understand the purpose of life you should read this Ayah and think about Kiyame:36:

Does the human being think that he can regulate everything alone

In order to warn the importance of keeping, ones word and how wrong it is to tell lies is demonstrated through the following Ayat.

In order to warn the importance of keeping ones word and how wrong it is to tell lies is demonstrated through the following Ayat.

O you believers, why do you promise that what you cannot keep as this as dislikeable in the sight of Allah (swt)

The Holy Qur’an contains many more ethical rules and advices.

The Qur’an and Tewafuq

May Allah1 bestow His Mercy and Blessings upon His Beloved Messenger Muhammad (ASW)–Commander of the both the world at hand and that of the Hereafter; The Beloved, sent as a mercy to all realms of existence, illuminating an otherwise dark cosmos with the Light he has brought.

The Messenger of Allah (ASW2) has, in many instances, declared the importance of both learning how to read the Qur’an and teaching it to others:

“The most virtuous worship of my community is the recitation of the Qur’an.”3

“Teach your children three things: Love of the Messenger of Allah (ASW), love of the Family of the Messenger of Allah (ASW), and the recitation of the Qur’an.”4

“Give your eyes their share of worship.” The Companions (RA5) asked, “O Messenger of Allah! What is the share of the eyes?” He replied, “To look upon and within the Pages (of the Qur’an,) reflect upon that which is Within, and receive admonition from Its subtleties.”6

“Look upon and within the Qur’an continuously.”7

In the book entitled “The Qur’an’s Merits,” writes, “Those seeking knowledge (of the sciences) of the past and future should explore the Qur’an. The Qur’an’s greatest treasures of knowledge underlie The Names and Attributes of Allah. Most people can only comprehend facets (of the Qur’an) which are compatible with their own sense of familiarity in comprehension. They are unable to fathom Its depths (of meaning).”

Ebu Musa’l-Eş’ari (RA), based on his study of the Sayings of the Messenger of Allah (ASW), has said, “I would feel ashamed unless I look at the Qur’an at least once a day.”

En-Nawawi (RA) quoting Ibn-u Ebi Davud (RA) says, “Throughout my studies, I have not come across any objection among the earliest scholars of Islam as to the ruling that reciting the Qur’an while looking at its text is more valuable than reciting it out of memory.”

One famous saying is: “The Qur’an was revealed in Mecca, recited in Egypt, and written in Turkey.” This saying emphasizes the fact that the Qur’an has been recited best in Egypt and handwritten best in Turkey. As if proving the accuracy of this saying, Ahmed Husrev Altınbaşak Efendi8 (RA) had handwritten a very special copy of the Qur’an which had not been achieved before. It has a beautiful, easily-read calligraphy, and a special miraculous style that inspires Its readers to say, “Maashallah, Barakallah.”9 This special characteristic is called “Tewafuq.”

Ahmed Husrev Altınbaşak (RA) was not a professional calligrapher, but rather, a devoted student and successor of Hazret10 Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (RA), who was an eminent scholar of Islam and the Qur’an. Ahmed Husrev was the closest companion of Hazret Bediuzzaman and was named by him as his successor. Ahmed Husrev Efendi was a hero of Islam who opposed the destruction of the exalted values of Muslims, defended and saved the tenets of Islam, coped with the greatest pains, and sacrificed all worldly pleasures while successfully extinguishing the inferno destroying the faith of Muslims.

1 Allah is the name of the Creator of all currently extant realms of existence and those of the Hereafter.

2 ASW: “Aleyhissalatu Wasselam” meaning “May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him.”

3 Feyd’ul-kadir, 2/44.

4 ibid, 1/225.

5 R.A.: Radiallahu anhu, May Allah be pleased with him.

6 Umdet’ül-Kari, 9/336.

7 Ibid, , 9/336.

8 Efendi is a title of respect in Islamic ethics.

9 Maashallah: “What wonders Allah has willed!” ; Barakallah: “What a Blessing of Allah!”

10 Hazret is a title given to highly respected men of learning in Islamic ethics.

- The First: This is the level of one who is negligent and wrongs his soul. He is the one who falls short in performing wudû’ properly, performing the prayer on time and within its specified limits, and in fulfilling its essential pillars.

- The Second: This is the level of one who guards his habit of offering his prayers on time and within their specified limits, who fulfils their essential pillars and performs his wudû’ with care. However, his striving (in achieving the above) is wasted due to disturbances in his thoughts during prayer that distract him and turn his attention to other preoccupations and concerns.

-The Third: This is the level of one who guards his prayers within the specified limits, fulfils their essential pillars and strives within himself to repel the disturbances in his thoughts and extraneous concerns. He is busy struggling against his enemy (Satan) so that Satan does not steal from the prayer. Because of this, he is engaged in (both) prayer and struggle (jihad).

- The Fourth: This is the level of one who carries out the prayer, completing and perfecting its due rights and essential pillars, who performs it within its specified limits and with his heart fully engrossed in safeguarding its rights and specified limits, so that nothing of his prayer is wasted. His whole concern is directed towards its performance, its completion and its perfection – as it should be. His heart is immersed in the prayer and in servitude to his Lord, the Exalted.

- The Fifth: This is the level of one who carries out the prayer like the one mentioned above. However, on top of this, he has taken and placed his heart in front of his Lord, looking towards Him with his heart in anticipation, filled with His love and His might, as if he sees and witnesses Allah. The misgivings, thoughts and preoccupations have vanished and the veil between him and his Lord is lifted. The difference between this person and others with respect to the prayer is greater than the distance between the heavens and the Earth. This person is busy with his Lord, delighted with Him.

The people whose performance of prayer is at the first level will be punished, those at the second will be held to account, those at the third will have their sins and shortcomings expiated, those at the forth fourth will be rewarded, and those at the fifth will be close to their Lord, because they will receive the portion of the one who makes his prayer the delight and pleasure of his eye. Whoever makes his prayer the delight and pleasure of his eye will have the nearness of his Lord made the delight and pleasure of his eye in the Hereafter. He will also be made a pleasure to the eye in this world, since whoever makes Allah the pleasure of his eye in this world, every other eye will become delighted and pleased with him.

(Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyyah)

Zakaat is one of the five pillars of Islam. In the Qur’an-i Azumusshan it is written

“Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” (Surah Bakaara, Ayah 277)

Rasulullah (saw) says

“Islam is based on five principles: to testify that there is no god but Allah and tat Mohammed is the messenger of Allah, to pray Salah, to give Zakaat, to perform Hajj and to fast during the month of Ramadan.”

In order to state its importance, in many Ayahs, Zakaat has been mentioned straight after Salah and have been mentioned together.

For those who do not give Zakaat, Allah (swt) says in Surah Al-I Imran, Ayah 180

“And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah has given them of Allah’s grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do”

Rasulullah (saw) says

“On the Day of Judgement, the properties of a man which Allah blessed him with, but from which he never gave Zakaat, would turn into a huge poisonous snake with black dots in each eye and this snake would wrap himself around the neck of them. Then the snake will grab the two sideas of the man’s chin and say ‘I am your belongings in the world which you loved so much, I am your wealth’”

Hz Abu Bakr, who was appointed Caliph after the death of Rasulullah (saw), said of those who do not give Zakaat:

“I swear in the name of Allah, that I will wage war on those who split Zakaat from Salah. Because Zakaat is a financial right. I swear in the name of Allah, that if they do not give me what they gave to Rasulullah (saw), even if it is the hair of a camel, I will wage war on them”

It is Sunnah to use miswak before and after sleep. Ibni Abbas (r.a) had spent the night in the presence of Rasulullah (saw_. He informed us of our Prophet’s usage of sewak and his performance of wuzu before and after sleep. To sleep upon the right towards kiblah is mustehabb. The most appropriate way to sleep is to lay your palm beneath your cheek and recite the name of Allah till you fall asleep. Hz. Aisha (r.a) narrated as follows:

“Every night while going into bed, our Prophet (saw) always brought his hands together, blew into it and read the surahs of Fatiha and Nas. He would then wipe his body 3 times with the best of his ability, starting from his head, his face and then the rest of his body.”

Our Prophet (saw) declares:

“When the last two ayahs of the surah of Bakaara (Amenerrasulu) are read every night, those two ayahs are utterly sufficient for the reader.”

A brief analysis of Sultan Abdulaziz

Sultan Abdulaziz Khan was a sultan of extreme respect towards our Prophet (saw). Whenever he received a letter from Madinah, he always replenished his ablution and said “These contain the dusts of Madinah” while kissing and holding it to his forehead before giving it to his chief secretary to read.

One day while ill in bed a request letter had arrived from the mujaavirs of Madinah (individuals who spend their time worshipping in Haremi Shareef). The Sultan’s immediate response was: “Help me stand up immediately! I want to listen to the requests of Haremeyn standing up. The requests of Rasulullah’s neighbours cannot be listened to while stretching my legs!”

Suddenly, there was a person, he said salaam.

‘May I come in?’ he asked.

But Fatimah did not allow him enter the room.

‘I’m sorry, my father is ill,’ said Fatimah, turned her body back
and closed the door.

She went back to her father who had opened his eyes and asked Fatimah,
‘Who was he, my daughter?’

‘I don’t know, my father. It was the first time for me to see
him,’ Fatimah said gently.

Then, Rasulullah looked at his daughter with trembled look, as if he
wanted to reminisce about every part of her daughter’s face.

‘Know one thing! He is who erases the temporary pleasure; he is who
separates the companionship in the world.

He is the death angel,’ said Rasulullah .

Fatimah bore the bomb of her cry. The death angel came toward him, But
Rasulullah asked why Jibril did not come along with him.

Then, Jibril was called. Jibril was ready in the sky to welcome the
soul of Habibullah and the leader of the earth.

‘O Jibril, explain me about my rights in front of ALLAH?’ Rasulullah
asked with a weakest voice.

‘The doors of sky have opened, the angels are waiting for your
soul..’

‘All jannats open widely waiting for you,’ Jibril said.

But, in fact, all this did not make Rasulullah relieved, his eyes were
still full of worry..

‘You are not happy to hear this news?’ asked Jibril.

‘Tell me about the destiny of my people in future?’

‘Don’t worry, O Rasul ALLAH. I heard ALLAH tell me: ‘I make jannat
haram for every one, except the people of Muhammad who are inside it,’
Jibril said..

It became closer and closer, the time for Malaekat Izrail to do his work.

Slowly, Rasulullah’s soul was pulled. It was seemed that the body of
Rasulullah was full of sweat; the nerves of his neck became tight.

‘Jibril, how painful this sakaratul maut is!’

Rasulullah uttered a groan slowly. Fatimah closed her eyes, Ali sat
beside her bowed deeply and Jibril turned his face back.

‘Am I repugnant to you that you turn your face back o Jibril?’
Rasulullah asked the Deliverer of Wahy.

‘Who is the one who could see the Habibullah in his condition of
sakaratul maut,’ Jibril said.

Not for a while, Rasulullah uttered a groan because of unbearable pain.

‘O ALLAH, how great is this sakaratul maut. Give me all these pains,
don’t give it to my people.’

The body of Rasulullah became cold, his feet and chest did not move anymore….

His lips vibrated as if he wanted to say something, Ali took his ear
close to Rasulullah.

‘Uushiikum bis salati, wa maa malakat aimanuku – take care of the
saalat and take care the weak people among you.’

Outside the room, there were cries shouted each other, sahabah held
each other. Fatimah closed her face with her hands and, again, Ali
took his ear close to Rasulullah’s mouth which became bluish.

‘Ummatii, ummatii, ummatii?’ – ‘My people, my people, my
people.’

And the life of the noble man ended.

Could we love each other like him? Allahumma sholli ‘ala Muhammad wa
baarikwa salim ‘alaihi. How deep is Rasulullah’s love to us.

Naming a child with regards to its meaning sacrificing an Akika kurban – Nourishing and raising them with halal. – Teaching them life knowledge and their religion. – To be moderate in their portrayal of love. Love should not cause the discipline of the child to hinder. – The child needs to be approached with compassion and should not be maltreated. – Parents should encourage their child to do well and choose the right path, they should not ever curse them. – Not to induce the child with what they are incapable of. – To treat each child fairly. – Not to be a bad example. – To treat the intimacy between husband and wife hidden from their child.

The Reward of Sincerity

When Fatih Sultan Mehmed conquered Istanbul he was congratulated with encomiums from many poets. The Sultan granted each one of them with generous gifts. One day a poet who recently came from Anatolia sent him the following two verses: Oh prosperous Sultan, let your morning be propitious, your food be milk and cream, your pathway become meadow Hz. Fatih summoned the poet to his presence and granted him with much more gifts. The Sultan’s close ones asked “Sir, why did you compliment so dearly upon these two verses whereas the other previous encomiums did not get as much attention?”

In response Fatih Sultan Mehmed said: “I found these verses more sincere than the rest… As He believes cream and milk to be the most delicious food and the meadow to be the most magnificent place. He has never seen anything batter than this, to see me worthy of it!”

With the directions of Rasulullah in his dream, Sultan Ahmed bin Tolun built a mosque in Cairo in 265 Hicri (879 AC). It has been assumed to be a castle however the steadiness and resistance of its double walls and pillars have never been seen in one. It is a large square shaped building in the size of the Kaaba. It is a large square shaped building in the size of the Kaaba and is 26m in height.

The mihrab of the mosque is the most authentic qibla of all as it was directed by Rasulullah (saw) it has spiritual presence. Hz Musa used to put his sheep out to pasture and had performed worship in this area. This mosque is an extremely old ma’bed (place of worship) where its mihrab was the post of Hz. Musa (as) and Hz Hizir (as). The favourable worldly and hereafter prayer of whomever that performs Salah in the mihrab at dawn will be accepted.

The courtyard encloses a Kaaba like dome withholding a remedial pool beneath it. A date tree is present at the left side of the pool, where its likes have never been seen in Egypt. With the permission of Rasulullah the date trees of Madina used to cultivate but is currently not available. The courtyard is fitted entirely with white marble. The minaret at the far north of the mosque is four cornered with three surrounding balconies and is quite artistically crafted.

Muezzins enter the minaret from the outside, facing 200 steps at the top, It has been so finely crafted by its created Kamil, that it cannot be expressed with words but is destitute to be seen. Besmeleh is written upon the left side of the wall of harem (a part of a Muslim dwelling allocated to women).

In the era of Sultan Suleyman, Hz. Karahisari visited the mosque while on his journet to the Kaaba and wrote a 40 foot long Besmeleh on the wall as a memento. It’s a great piece of calligraphy that deserves to be seen with each ‘elif’ as long as 5.44 metres.

The Tolun mosque and the Besmeleh of Karahisari are quite renowned to the Arab and Persian travellers. The left side of the mosque has two double walled minarets making a total of three. Its engraved wooden minber will bewilder spectators.(From the travel journel of Saint Celebi)

The third holy book, the Bible (Injil), was brought down to Isa(Jesus)(as). The book that the Christians possess today is not the holy book that was sent down to Isa (as) from Allah (swt). Even now Christians have four bibles written by four individuals called Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which do not coincide with one another.

Even though there has been many bibles written and put forward ever since Isa(as) until 325 AD, with the gathering of the first Nicaea council every bible apart from the four remaning were burnt.

At the 325 AD Nicaea Council gathering, “for the security and the future of the empire” the beliefs of a group of Christians lef by Priest Arius of Alexandria were refused, The belief in only one God was refused. The council accepted the belief in the holy trinity, the belief that continues today.

Those who did not believe in the trinity were declared heretic. The Roman Catholic Church declared that “the wish of god occured at this council”, but the only thing that occurred was the wish of the empire. The bibles present today are no older than Constantine’s period of reign (the Emperor of the Roman Empire responsible for the council of Nicaea).

This therefore shows us that the real bible sent to Isa (as) from Allah (swt) is not apparent today.

In the time of Rasulullah (saw) the bad order of backbiting, talking behind peoples back used to appear, but it’s not apparent today. The reason was asked to a person of wisdom who replied by saying: “backbite has increased so much that our senses have adapted to this smell and there is not as obvious.” A person who enters a tannery for the first time cannot bare the severe odour. The workers however do not sense the odour as they have become accustomed to it. This is how the state of backbite is at present.

The first hutbe of Omer bin Abdulaziz (r.a.)

“Dear Muslims, I advise you to fear Allah (takwa) as it replaces everything and nothing can take its place. Perform good deeds for your afterlife as Allah is a guarantor for the lives of individuals who work for the hereafter. Straighten your inner self so that Allah can reform your outer being. Continuously remind yourself of death and be prepared before it beckons. You are all going to die like everyone from Adem (a.s.) to your great grandfathers, to you today. This Ummah – Muslims will certainly not fall into conflict upon their creator, prophets and holy books. However they may only part n personal beneficial terms. I give oath to Allah to withhold from someone what is not their right and not to prevent one from receiving their rightful dues.”

Being unjust toward Muslims

Rasulullah (saw) states: “If one takes a Muslims share in oath, Allah will render the flames of hell wajib, and heaven haraam upon them.” Upon hearing this, a man asks: “Oh Rasulullah, what if a minority is taken?” Rasulullah (saw) replies: “even if it’s a tiny sheared branch from a sewak tree.”

If a person prays Salah at the end of the time slot, Allah would only forgive them for praying the Salah in its time period, however they will miss out on Allah’s (swt) blessings and mercy. If a person delays their prayer, it is only because the shaytan is tricking them, or that they are following their nafs, unless they have an acceptable reason for the delay. We must not forget that the duty of shaytan and nafs is to prevent Muslims from praying to Allah (swt) and to make us fall for this Dunya.

In a Hadith our Prophet (saw) says

“It is the job the shaytan to delay your duties to Allah”, in another Hadith, our Prophet (saw) says “Those who delay will perish”

Salah is an ibadah, between Allah (swt) and the servant, for the servant to show to his Creator how much he is in need of Allah (swt), and hence, this is only possible via a sincere, obedient prayer to be prayed on time with wiseness and piousness.

Praying Salah in the very beginning of its time slot, will enable one to gain the blessings of Allah (swt), this is because a Muslim rushes to pray on time without any delay. This shows the servant’s piousness and his seriousness towards his obedience to Allah (swt), and shows the understanding that the very important part of his life is to pray.

A Muslim in search for the forgiveness, mercy and blessings of Allah (swt) must do his daily prayers, fast in Ramadan and must give zakat on time. What we do now in this world, is what we will rely on tomorrow, so we as Muslims, must be wise and pious in whatever we do and we must do it for the sake of Allah (swt) only.

It is what the heart attains of tranquillity and satisfaction at the onset of the calamity and the removal of unrest, confusion and despair. Therefore the servant surrenders and submits himself before his Lord and Master and he emerges in a state of complete rest and tranquility – looking on at Him with his heart, and his soul at peace. His witnessing His Kindness has distracted him from the severity of the situation.(Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah )

Islam has divided time into different time slots, giving values to some than others. For example, the era of our Prophet Muhammad (saw) was the best era this world will ever see, this era is followed by the Ta’bi’in, where the Quran-i Azimusshan and Hadith explain fondly of them. The month of Ramadan is the most valued month in a year, and the night of Layla’t-ul’Qadr is the most valued night in the month of Ramadan. Jummah is the best day of the week, and in the day of Jummah there is an hour where Allah (swt) does not turn away any prayers made. And in everyday the very beginning of the time slot of Sehri and the very beginning of the time slot for Salah are the most valued times of the day.

Salah is the most excellent prayer one can do and Islam without Salah is not thinkable. One cannot seperate hotness from fire, nor can one seperate Salah from a Muslim. Like that it is a must that the sun rises for daylight , for a person to consider himself as a Muslim, as well doing all the necessary deeds, they must pray Salah, and the best way would be, to pray on time.

When asked to our Prophet Muhammed (saw), which Ibadah is the best in virtue, He (saw) replied “to pray Salah on time”. Abdul Malik Bin Abu Mahzure explains he heard the following from Rasulullah (saw),

“A person will gain Allah’s blessing if he prays Salah in the very beginning of its time slot, he will gain Allah’s mercy if he prays in the middle of the time period, and will only gain Allah’s forgiveness if he prays at the end of the time slot”

At the time of monarch of Egypt named ‘Pharoah’ Bani Isra’il was being treated as slaves and the boys were killed in Bani Isra’il. In the middle of all this Hz. Musa (as) was born from ‘Imran’ grandson of Lavi who is third son of Hz. Yakub. Her mother placed him in a box, to the river Nile for the fear of the Pharoah. The wife of the Pharoah, the Egyptian ruler Hz Asiya cought sight of the box at her residence no the banks of the Nile and took Hz. Musa to the palace. The mother of Hz. Musa was accepted as wet-nurse in the palace.

Hz Musa was brought up in Phoroah’s palace. Phoroah asked people to worship himselft. One day, Hz. Musa killed one of the Soldiers unintentionally and then left Egypt and went towards Median. He saw Hz. Suayb (as) and married His daughter. When he set out towards Egypt, he was given Prophethood at the Tur Mountain, and the duty of bringing the Bani Isra’il out of Egypt and His brother Hz. Harun (as) was made companion to Him. Hz. Musa (as) informed Pharaoh of his prophethood and invited him to the worship of Allah and showed him many miracles. But, Pharaoh refused to believe. They called Hz. Musa (as) and invited all the magicians. But the all magicians were degraded and came to believe in Hz. Musa (as). Pharaoh insisted on denial. He let Bani Isra’il leave Egypt, Pharaoh then set our in pursuit of Hz. Musa (as) with his army. The sea opened up with the power of Allah (swt), Bani Isra’il followed his way to walk across the sea, Pharaoh and his army who followed them were drowned and killed.

Hz. Musa (as) reached the Asia side with Bani Isra’il. He went to Tur-i Sina on Allah’s (swt) command. While Hz. Musa was in Tur-i Sina, Bani Isra’il worshipped idols, they had been warned and called to convert by Hz. Musa (as). Hz Musa (as) wanted to go to Arz Muqaddas with Bani Isra’il two yeards after leaving Egypt. But it was necessary to have war against the Amalika people who lived in the vicinity. Bani Isra’il escaped from the way. They resided in Tih Sahra Sina and Faran Deserts. They were surviving there eating kudrat-halva. Bani Isra’il had changed over forty years with its grown-up new generation. Hz. Musa and his people had war against a tribe residing at the south of Lut lake and reached the Jordan river (Nehr-I Saria).

Later on, Hz Musa and Hz. Harun passed away to Akhirat. After that, Bani Isra’il reached Ken’an land with Yusa (as).

Firstly, we must teach Iman and Islamic knowledge to our children. As parents it is our most important duty to give and provide sound Islamic information.

Secondly, We must teach our children how to read the Qur’an Azimussan. Every child must be thought how to read the Salah Surahs and Dua’s off-by heart.

Thirdly, Good behaviour and Ahlaq. We must teach our children at the earliest opportunity what is right and whaht difference is between good and bad behaviour. How to respect each other and all creatures of Allah (swt).

Fourtly, We have to teach our young ones, the Life of Rasulullah (saw). we cannot give any better example than our dearest messanger, Ahmed Mahmoud Muhammed, Mustafa (saw). Rasulullah (saw) in a Hadith says:

“I am here to complete the good behaviour and good ahlaq.”

We and our children have many lessons to learn from the life of Rasulullah (saw). Wouldn’t it be good if we all read the life of Rasulullah (saw) to our children as a bedtime story.

Fifthly, We have to give good names to our children. We have to teach them love in the ISLAMIC sense. If we could teach the true meaning of love to our children would there be any trouble in the world? Islamic love will remove all bitterness in this life. Loving Allah (swt), Rasulullah (saw), Ashab Ikram(r.anhum), Evliyaullah will bring lots of good qualities to our children’s lives.

Parents must treat their children equally, same amount of attention must be gibing to each children, be it a boy or a girl. This is so that justice can be planted into their young lives. In a hadith Rasulullah (saw) says:

“Be afraid of Allah and show justice among your children.”

Huzeyfetubnul-Yemani(r.a.) replies

“I learnt these from our Prophet (saw), they were taught only to me.”

He also notes: “people continuously queried about the virtues and rewards of different good deeds and actions. I would ask them; ‘what would nullify certain deeds?’ and would notify them of the consequences and punishment of certain conducts in order for them not to cross that path. I did this as I know that good will not be known without the acknowledgement of wrongful acts. Our Prophet (saw) was the one who taught me these.”

A similar question was asked to Hasani Basrii(k.s.): “Eba Sa’id, no one has explained what we’ve heard from you before! Where did you learn these from?” In response Hasani basrii said: ” from Huzeyfetubnul- Yemanii.”

“O men! Certainly the promises of Allah is true, let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah”(Surah of Fatir, 5).

This verse was interpreted as followed: Akhirah is sure to come; punishments and rewards will be given in all circumstances. Therefore do not dare let this life mislead you. Don’t say “enjoy today regardless of tomorrow” or forget your religious duties by delving into the world.

Afterlife should not be sacrificed for the sake of this earth. As youth fades away and old age beckons, life on earth is like a dream whereas Akhira is eternal. One should not allow the devil in deceiving them with Allah in the same way.

By saying ”Allah is Rahim, Gafur, Kerim and forgiving’ don’t be impelled into committing sins, inertia (laziness), laxity and therefore neglecting your duties.

Allah is truly as described, but do not be deceived by this. Not to fear Allah will result in being deprived from the blessings promised to Allah’s faithful followers.

Al-Wudth is a form of religious cleanliness which consists of rinsing and rubbing certain parts of one’s body in accordance with religious rules. Many devotional acts cannot be performed without Wudhu. For instance, one who does not have Wudhu is neither permitted to perform Salah nor to talk around the Holy Kaaba nor to touch the Noble Qur’an. One who performs a prayer, though he knows that he does not have Wudhu will lose their iman.

The obligatory acts of Ablution (Wudhu)

There are four obligatory acts(fardh) of Wudhu:

To wash the face,

To wash the arms up to to and including the elbows,

To rub with the wet palms of the hands one-fourth of one’s head,

To wash the feet up to and including the ankles.

It is praiseworthy to recite Surah al-Qadr(the Surah of Power) for one, two or three times after the ablution:

‘Bismillahir’Tahmanir’Rahim. Innaa anzalnaahu fi Layla’t-il Qadr. Wa maa adraka maa Layla’t-ul Qads.
Interpretation:
In the name of Allah(swt)
We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power: And what will explain to thee what the Night of power is?
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months, Therein come down the angels and the Spirit of Allah’s permission, On every errand: Peace… This until the rise of morn!

In a hadith Prophet Muhammed (saw) says ” If Allah (swt) appoints a person with a responsibility, and that person dies without fulfulling their responsibility, Allah (swt) will declare jannah (paradise) haram for that person.”

Then in case, what are our responsabilities as a Muslim? Who are we resbonsibility for? And how can we fulfill our duties of responsibility?

A father is responsible for his family, his son and his daughter. He has the dity to fulfill their spiritual needs as well as their wordly needs. The father has the responsibility to mack sure that his family, his sone and daughter are kept away from haram. and most importantly he has the responsibility to mack sure his family, his son and his daughter MUST learn the deen of islam, he must mack sure to teach them what is right and what is not, hence the diffrence between Halal and Haram. Our prophet Muhhammad (saw) says ” All of you are shepherds, and you are all responsible for your herd!”

You could call me a ‘matchmaker,’ said Levy Izhak Rosenbaum, from Brooklyn, USA, in a secret recording with an FBI-agent whom he believed to be a client. Ten days later, at the end of July this year, Rosenbaum was arrested and a vast, Sopranos-like, imbroglio of money-laundering and illegal organ-trade was revealed. Rosenbaum’s matchmaking had nothing to do with romance. It was all about buying and selling kidneys from Israel on the black market. Rosenbaum says that he buys the kidneys for $10,000, from poor people. He then proceeds to sell the organs to desperate patients in the States for $160,000. The accusations have shaken the American transplantation business. If they are true it means that organ trafficking is documented for the first time in the US, experts tell the New Jersey Real-Time News.

On the question of how many organs he has sold Rosenbaum replies: “Quite a lot. And I have never failed,” he boasts. The business has been running for quite some time. Francis Delmonici, professor of transplant surgery at Harvard and member of the National Kidney Foundation’s Board of Directors, tells the same newspaper that organ-trafficking, similar to the one reported from Israel, is carried out in other places of the world as well. 5–6,000 operations a year, about ten per cent of the world’s kidney transplants are carried out illegally, according to Delmonici.

Countries suspected of these activities are Pakistan, the Philippines and China, where the organs are allegedly taken from executed prisoners. But Palestinians also harbor strong suspicions against Israel for seizing young men and having them serve as the country’s organ reserve – a very serious accusation, with enough question marks to motivate the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to start an investigation about possible war crimes.

Israel has repeatedly been under fire for its unethical ways of dealing with organs and transplants. France was among the countries that ceased organ collaboration with Israel in the nineties. Jerusalem Post wrote that “the rest of the European countries are expected to follow France’s example shortly.”

Half of the kidneys transplanted to Israelis since the beginning of the 2000s have been bought illegally from Turkey, Eastern Europe or Latin America. Israeli health authorities have full knowledge of this business but do nothing to stop it. At a conference in 2003 it was shown that Israel is the only western country with a medical profession that doesn’t condemn the illegal organ trade. The country takes no legal measures against doctors participating in the illegal business – on the contrary, chief medical officers of Israel’s big hospitals are involved in most of the illegal transplants, according to Dagens Nyheter (December 5, 2003).

In the summer of 1992, Ehud Olmert, then minister of health, tried to address the issue of organ shortage by launching a big campaign aimed at having the Israeli public register for post mortem organ donation. Half a million pamphlets were spread in local newspapers. Ehud Olmert himself was the first person to sign up. A couple of weeks later the Jerusalem Post reported that the campaign was a success. No fewer than 35,000 people had signed up. Prior to the campaign it would have been 500 in a normal month. In the same article, however, Judy Siegel, the reporter, wrote that the gap between supply and demand was still large. 500 people were in line for a kidney transplant, but only 124 transplants could be performed. Of 45 people in need of a new liver, only three could be operated on in Israel.

While the campaign was running, young Palestinian men started to disappear from villages in the West Bank and Gaza. After five days Israeli soldiers would bring them back dead, with their bodies ripped open.

Talk of the bodies terrified the population of the occupied territories. There were rumors of a dramatic increase of young men disappearing, with ensuing nightly funerals of autopsied bodies.

I was in the area at the time, working on a book. On several occasions I was approached by UN staff concerned about the developments. The persons contacting me said that organ theft definitely occurred but that they were prevented from doing anything about it. On an assignment from a broadcasting network I then travelled around interviewing a great number of Palestinian families in the West Bank and Gaza – meeting parents who told of how their sons had been deprived of organs before being killed. One example that I encountered on this eerie trip was the young stone-thrower Bilal Achmed Ghanan.

It was close to midnight when the motor roar from an Israeli military column sounded from the outskirts of Imatin, a small village in the northern parts of the West Bank. The two thousand inhabitants were awake. They were still, waiting, like silent shadows in the dark, some lying upon roofs, others hiding behind curtains, walls, or trees that provided protection during the curfew but still offered a full view toward what would become the grave for the first martyr of the village. The military had interrupted the electricity and the area was now a closed-off military zone – not even a cat could move outdoors without risking its life. The overpowering silence of the dark night was only interrupted by quiet sobbing. I don’t remember if our shivering was due to the cold or to the tension. Five days earlier, on May 13, 1992, an Israeli special force had used the village’s carpentry workshop for an ambush. The person they were assigned to put out of action was Bilal Achmed Ghanan, one of the stone-throwing Palestinian youngsters who made life difficult for the Israeli soldiers.

As one of the leading stone-throwers Bilal Ghanan had been wanted by the military for a couple of years. Together with other stone-throwing boys he hid in the Nablus mountains, with no roof over his head. Getting caught meant torture and death for these boys – they had to stay in the mountains at all costs.

On May 13 Bilal made an exception, when for some reason, he walked unprotected past the carpentry workshop. Not even Talal, his older brother, knows why he took this risk. Maybe the boys were out of food and needed to restock.

Everything went according to plan for the Israeli special force. The soldiers stubbed their cigarettes, put away their cans of Coca-Cola, and calmly aimed through the broken window. When Bilal was close enough they needed only to pull the triggers. The first shot hit him in the chest. According to villagers who witnessed the incident he was subsequently shot with one bullet in each leg. Two soldiers then ran down from the carpentry workshop and shot Bilal once in the stomach. Finally, they grabbed him by his feet and dragged him up the twenty stone steps of the workshop stair. Villagers say that people from both the UN and the Red Crescent were close by, heard the discharge and came to look for wounded people in need of care. Some arguing took place as to who should take care of the victim. Discussions ended with Israeli soldiers loading the badly wounded Bilal in a jeep and driving him to the outskirts of the village, where a military helicopter waited. The boy was flown to a destination unknown to his family. Five days later he came back, dead and wrapped in green hospital fabric.

A villager recognized Captain Yahya, the leader of the military column who had transported Bilal from the postmortem center Abu Kabir, outside of Tel Aviv, to the place for his final rest. “Captain Yahya is the worst of them all,” the villager whispered in my ear. After Yahya had unloaded the body and changed the green fabric for a light cotton one, some male relatives of the victim were chosen by the soldiers to do the job of digging and mixing cement.

Together with the sharp noises from the shovels we could hear laughter from the soldiers who, as they waited to go home, exchanged some jokes. As Bilal was put in the grave his chest was uncovered. Suddenly it became clear to the few people present just what kind of abuse the boy had been exposed to. Bilal was not by far the first young Palestinian to be buried with a slit from his abdomen up to his chin.

The families in the West Bank and in Gaza felt that they knew exactly what had happened: “Our sons are used as involuntary organ donors,” relatives of Khaled from Nablus told me, as did the mother of Raed from Jenin and the uncles of Machmod and Nafes from Gaza, who had all disappeared for a number of days only to return at night, dead and autopsied.

“Why are they keeping the bodies for up to five days before they let us bury them? What happened to the bodies during that time? Why are they performing autopsy, against our will, when the cause of death is obvious? Why are the bodies returned at night? Why is it done with a military escort? Why is the area closed off during the funeral? Why is the electricity interrupted?” Nafe’s uncle was upset and he had a lot of questions.

The relatives of the dead Palestinians no longer harbored any doubts as to the reasons for the killings, but the spokesperson for the Israeli army claimed that the allegations of organ theft were lies. All the Palestinian victims go through autopsy on a routine basis, he said. Bilal Achmed Ghanem was one of 133 Palestinians killed in various ways that year. According to the Palestinian statistics the causes of death were: shot in the street, explosion, tear gas, deliberately run over, hanged in prison, shot in school, killed at home etcetera. The 133 people killed were between four months to 88 years old. Only half of them, 69 victims, went through postmortem examination. The routine autopsy of killed Palestinians – of which the army spokesperson was talking – has no bearing on the reality in the occupied territories. The questions remain.

We know that Israel has a great need for organs, that there is a vast and illegal trade of organs which has been running for many years now, that the authorities are aware of it and that doctors in managing positions at the big hospitals participate, as well as civil servants at various levels. We also know that young Palestinian men disappeared, that they were brought back after five days, at night, under tremendous secrecy, stitched back together after having been cut from abdomen to chin.

It’s time to bring clarity to this macabre business, to shed light on what is going on and what has taken place in the territories occupied by Israel since the Intifada began.
