simple guidance and examples of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) and the Sahabah

Parental Responsibility

Firstly, we must teach Iman and Islamic knowledge to our children. As parents it is our most important duty to give and provide sound Islamic information.

Secondly, We must teach our children how to read the Qur’an Azimussan. Every child must be thought how to read the Salah Surahs and Dua’s off-by heart.

Thirdly, Good behaviour and Ahlaq. We must teach our children at the earliest opportunity what is right and whaht difference is between good and bad behaviour. How to respect each other and all creatures of Allah (swt).

Fourtly, We have to teach our young ones, the Life of Rasulullah (saw). we cannot give any better example than our dearest messanger, Ahmed Mahmoud Muhammed, Mustafa (saw). Rasulullah (saw) in a Hadith says:

“I am here to complete the good behaviour and good ahlaq.”

We and our children have many lessons to learn from the life of Rasulullah (saw). Wouldn’t it be good if we all read the life of Rasulullah (saw) to our children as a bedtime story.

Fifthly, We have to give good names to our children. We have to teach them love in the ISLAMIC sense. If we could teach the true meaning of love to our children would there be any trouble in the world? Islamic love will remove all bitterness in this life. Loving Allah (swt), Rasulullah (saw), Ashab Ikram(r.anhum), Evliyaullah will bring lots of good qualities to our children’s lives.

Parents must treat their children equally, same amount of attention must be gibing to each children, be it a boy or a girl. This is so that justice can be planted into their young lives. In a hadith Rasulullah (saw) says:

“Be afraid of Allah and show justice among your children.”
