Tevekkul

Tevekkul

Tevekkul is to trust Allah (swt).

It is not to rely on your talent, wealth or strength as these are helpless. As Allah (swt) has power over objects and is able to destroy these reasons and create new reasons which cannot be explained.

We should stick to these reasons; however one must trust Allah (swt) with his full heart. The reasons do not have strength for an end result. A reason becomes a reason with Allah (swt) permission and creation. Allah (swt) is the only creator. Allah (swt) can create without a reason.

However, to give a reason for his creation is his Sunnah and tradition. For example He (swt) would not give a child to an unmarried person. Although He (swt) has the power to do so. This is how Adam (as) and Havva (ra) were created. There are many people who marry few times, and won’t have kids.

Also there are many people who are talented and strong but they would not be able to reach their goals as their strength would disappear. This shows that it is compulsory to only trust, thank and worship Allah (swt).

Is it surprising how people are unable to trust Allah (swt) for their daily duties. There are people who stop working and say they trust Allah (swt). Although Allah (swt) had urged to trust him on the day-to-day duties, one must also carry on working for the hereafter.
People are doing the opposite. They say they need worldly possessions, so they work to make a lot of profit. They say Allah (swt) is Almighty and become lazy in preparing themselves to the life after death.

If one trusts Allah (swt) in their day-to-day life and gives their priority to worship, Allah (swt) would provide him with the necessary things. He (swt) will pit richness in their hearts and they would see themselves wealthy. On the other hand if one works day and night to make money or to come to a status, if they do not think about the afterlife, then they would in a distraught and an unorganised state.
